History

Bahçeşehir College which was founded with the mission of providing of the highest and most contemporary education , while always holding dear the principle of equality of opportunity began providing education at its site in the Istanbul suburb of Bahçeşehir. The school decided to expand operations to incorporate educational activities in the Anatolian part of Turkey.

Bahçeşehir Collges with its painstakenly-developed corporate structure, both in its existing schools and those that it will open in future, endeavours to provide the same high quality of education in keeping with its well-established quality standards. To ensure uniformity of high standards necessitates involving both administrators and teachers at each stage of the decision- making process as well as cooperating closely with our affiliated institutions to obtain support with regard to key related issues.

Bahçeşehir College ,that in cooperation with BJK College, provides high-quality education at its 48 kindergartens, 35 primary schools, 17 high schools and 10 science museums at 25 different provinces, aims to increase the number of schools to 150 within the next three years and so reach a total of 350 schools on three continents by 2023, consequently ensuring a position for itself as one of the world’s largest, most successful and respected educational institutions.

Bahçeşehir High School for Science and Technology, founded in 2006-2007 as the first school of its kind, has as its focus the technology of the future, aiming to raise young technical experts and scientists who will take their place on the global stage among the leaders of their generation in their relative disciplines

Our Science Museums have as their goal to foster a love of science and technology to those of all age groups, but with special focus on the 12 to 15 age year group through a series of activities focused around interactive learning stations and other specially-created experimental areas. The first of these unique museums was founded at our on our Istanbul Bahçeşehir campus, the second at our primary school at BJK college and the third in the district of Karşıyaka in Izmir.


Bahçeşehir College Children’s Science Museum

Turkey’s First Science Museum for children, opened its doors for the first time on the occasion of Turkish National Children’s Day on 23rd April, 2010 at our Bahçeşehir Primary school campus. This museum offers a wide array of environments and activities, to which students are able to bring their imagination and curiosity to life in the fields of mathematics, science, tehnology and music. Children visiting our museum, through fun activities at the interactive learning stations located around the museum and by asking questions to many of the dedicated museum assistants always there to lend a helping hand, are able to gain a unique understanding of the basic scientific principles that affect their daily lives.
